Invite family members to Zeta

Share scans, shopping lists, and alerts in just a few taps.

Steps

1. Open Family Hub

From the app sidebar, tap “Family Hub” → “Members.” You’ll see everyone currently sharing your plan.

2. Send invitation

Tap “Invite member,” enter their email, and choose their permissions (scan-only, shopping list, or full admin).

3. Confirm acceptance

Your invitee receives an email + push notification. Once they accept, their avatar appears in Family Hub.

Troubleshooting

Invite email missing

Ask the member to check spam folders for “Zeta Family Invite.” You can resend from Family Hub after 10 minutes.

Tip: Use the copy link option for messaging apps.

Member already on another plan

Members can only belong to one family at a time. They must leave their current plan before joining yours.

Tip: They can export history before switching.

Permissions incorrect

Edit roles from Family Hub → tap the member → change access level. Changes apply instantly.

Tip: Admins can manage billing; viewers cannot.

FAQ

Common questions

How many members can I invite?

Premium plans allow 4 members, Family plans allow 5, and Enterprise plans have custom limits. Your counter appears at the top of Family Hub.

Do invites expire?

Yes, after 7 days. You can resend anytime without losing the original settings.

Can kids have limited access?

Absolutely. Choose “scan-only” to hide billing, history, and community contributions.
