Keep your Premium access active

Replace an expiring or compromised card without interrupting scans, shared lists, or moderator priority support.

Steps to update your card

1. Open Billing settings

Go to Settings → Billing → Payment method. Tap “Replace card” next to your active Zeta Premium subscription.

2. Add the new card

Enter the cardholder name, number, expiry, and CVC. We use Paddle for processing, so 3D Secure prompts may appear for bank verification.

3. Confirm and test

Tap “Save payment method.” We immediately run a $0 authorization to confirm the issuer accepts future renewals.

Troubleshooting

Card keeps failing

Most declines come from bank fraud filters or insufficient funds. Double-check the billing ZIP/postal code and that the card supports online subscriptions.

Tip: Ask your bank to whitelist “Paddle*Zeta” or try another card/network.

Can’t see the replace button

Only the primary account admin can edit the shared payment method. Members on a family plan get a read-only view.

Tip: Have the owner sign in or transfer ownership from Settings → Family Hub.

Invoice still shows the old card

Invoices already finalized keep their original payment metadata. Future receipts update automatically after the card change.

Tip: Download a VAT invoice with the new card once the next charge succeeds.

FAQ

Billing clarity

Will upcoming renewals retry automatically?

Yes. Once the new card is saved, any past-due invoice retries instantly and future cycles bill the fresh payment method.

Can I keep multiple cards on file?

Not yet. Zeta stores a single primary card per subscription. We recommend using a virtual card if you want quick swaps.

Does updating the card incur a charge?

No. We only run a temporary $0 authorization. Your next payable invoice posts on its standard renewal date.

Need a manual invoice or bank transfer?

Our billing team can help within a business day

Email billing@zeta.app with your workspace ID and the last four digits of the new card. We’ll confirm the swap and reissue any failed receipts.
